We are the Mars god

We have the capability to send "things" to other planets.    We already have.  If you believe the scientists, we have landed on the moon, and created spacecraft that have landed on Mars.  These craft were built by man, in earth science labs and shot up into outer space from earth.

It is conceivable, if not possible, that these crafts contain microscopic contaminants and perhaps even life and cells that may be able to exist throughout the trip, and still exist when the ships land.  molecules or atoms of life, in forms we may not even be aware of.  Science beyond what I can hope to understand, and possibly even beyond what the scientists of earth understand.

Now, skip ahead 3 billion years.  If these things contain living molecules or cells, and these cells have the ability to maintain activity, life or even reproduction, are we not creating life on another planet?

If life were to evolve through time on a distant planet because we left some metal spaceship, the craft itself would be lone gone by the time evolution caught up with knowledge or self awareness.

It would appear that life was started on that planet with no understanding of how or why.

How is this different from what we know of our life on earth?  We may be the gods of future Mars.  Is it a stretch to believe a spaceship from another world is the god of our planet?
